Right now it doesn't look very welcoming, like my "dream home".Finally, it's a slow market for everyone, not many people are moving unless they were kicked out of their current place, but I personally try not to use the time of year as an excuse, I just have to change my tactics to make sure it gets rented ASAP.Few questions:1.

@Andrew Postell also I'd like to add that the reason I am considering this is my dream is to build a small home (not a tiny home!)

It's my dream home and I don't regret it but we also rent it out for filmings.  

then BRRRR and using HML is a viable path.BTW: $500/unit/month is probably a pipe dream, unless you plan to own free-and-clear.
