They are just north of 8 mile which is South Warren and the border of North Detroit (very bad neighborhoods and crime) but is generally an ok neighborhood.The other reason is that the actually use the house to run their business rather than renting a commercial unit because it's cheaper.In fact these same tenants split the cost to add a central air conditioner because it's been so hot here this summer.

All great points, but what I call "crossing the line" can be a big deal.

Uwe, the condo is on the east side of Milwaukee, 1/2 of a block off of Lake Drive, 1 block from Lake Michigan, just south of the Shorewood border, a very nice part of the east side.

We didn't have continual problems like this before or since (fingers crossed).

Here in La Crosse, even $300,000 have laminate countertops.

I'm the exception, not the rule though lolI've gotten all three under contract with two headed to the closing table so my fingers are still crossed right now.
