I am trying to do my first real estate deal and am wondering how to structure it. I have found a property for $295k in a nice neighborhood with an ARV of $385k the seller acquired through adverse...

I'm doing well on creating my team, however, I would like any recommendations for Title Companies or RE Attorney that can perform closes in the DFW area.  

@Dan RomaA CPA is recommended but not required.A couple of talking points - You need to apply for a corporation to have S-Corp status.S-corps tax returns are due 3/15 with the possibility of it being extended to 9/15.You may want to look into creating an LLC that is taxed as an S-corp.

I've met with a few local agents here in Portland and one, in particular, seems to have the right team, mindset, and knowledge to help create and accelerate the growth of a portfolio. 

There should be a section or two in those docs which discuss dues/assessments (and the liens created thereby) as well as violations and how those become liens.

When we acquired the 3 TX properties with the proceeds I took title in my own name and it never created any problems.

Congratulations. not sure on the floors we have been using real bamboo  and in our other high end home it will be heart of pine.. not familiar with Houzzcabinets were ordered  counter tops were custom concrete though.. house is 4 stories and what makes it special is it will be the last one built that can be that tall in that area they changed the code right after we were permitted Charleston is challenging you need the height to get the sq ft in the house that house is still only 1700 sq ft.. you have to build up out of flood zone in that area so you cant go under and first level has to be parking so now you can only do two floors above garage.. and because the lots were created back when the US was created basically they are all tiny 20 to 30 feet wide 50 to 80 feet deep.. so it going to be interesting going forward.. basically going to be pretty tough to have anything over about 1500 sq ft.
