I have a list of local credit unions and small banks in the Cleveland area that was created here on BP.

To limit exposure, I was thinking of buying using my Line of Credit, and paying it off with cash: basically acting as my own bank.

I applied for a HELOC from the same bank that holds my mortgage on my primary residence.

Is it better to go through the bank that is holding my mortgage or through my trusted broker that found me the lender?

Hello BP team, I am getting ready to make an offer on a bank owned MF unit.

Private money, hard lenders, or banks I don't really care where I go but like to use lenders who keep the ball rolling with me and even help with structure of the lending.

My concern is by using the HELOC as mentioned then applying for add'l conventional loans as we grow our portfolio how will this impact our ability to continue to get funding from the banks?

My bank owns a big project there they foreclosed on about 10 years ago..

It would be unlikely a real estate agent or bank would accept your offer contract.
