I have a basement that my tenant uses as storage.

Hoping to gain some insight on how to go about estimating the potential construction cost of a self storage building from a 10k ft view. 

The apartment is relatively small (700 - 750 square feet), with 1 BR, 1 - 3/4 bath, a full kitchen, an area for dining and a decent size living area plus plenty of storage so I think it would be great for a long-term renter, but it would also suit someone for the short-term as well (See snapshot below for a layout).
