Greetings, I'm considering entering the market in Fire Island, specifically through the purchase of a single family home and exploiting the summer rental market.

Personally the only type of seller financing I am a fan of is Land Contract but that is more a Michigan thing. 

I lived in AC for years and now reside just off island.

Side note I am from Long Island.

The property is on San Juan Island in Friday Harbor. that is part of my hesitation, that any "boots on the ground" on that island is proving to be very difficult to get anything done everyone is on "island time" and are very expensive so the maintenance I feel will be my biggest headache.

I don't know those condos, but was considering a condo on Ana Maria Island a few months ago.
