Instead the number that matters is the monthly mortgage payment and how affordable/unaffordable that number is.With interest rates rapidly rising, this has caused homes to quickly become unaffordable.

And, simply putting those landlords out of business.I won't even touch on the social aspects in a community that slumlords contribute to directly and most are so consumed in their greed and self that they don't even realize the impact caused, and some wouldn't care....as they think they are making money.

/Dec)Many banks for the last 6 months have been testing the market and pricing even the messed up homes at full retail value.Trustee sales over the last 6 months got very VERY competitive and investors were bidding up homes above 80% of value, this caused the banks to try pricing REO's higher.I have no idea if I am correct or not, but I do know that times have been tougher to lock great deals so far this year.

That could be a sign something broke loose in the floor, caused pieces of the ceiling to fall, then covered up for a quick sale.

Plus a subfloor not flat to spec will cause snap joints to work loose.In addition, carpet can be easily repaired, especially the sandy - peppered patterns.

I can explain if you need, and yes, I was doing this before it became so well known.I would demand the lender reimburse you for the appraisal, if in fact they're the cause of the 20 day holdover.
