Keep the beautiful images of your STR up and looking charming, set up your own free website with videos, photos of activities in the area, lists of restaurants, hiking, historic whatever.

That doesn't mean randomly invest without research.

Yes, I know I should hire a professional, but I like to understand things my self.Facts: property bought in 2018before being put into service some work on it have been done:- $5000 on floors- $1000 on carpet- $1000 appliances- $7000 random (paint, door fixes, wall fixes, bathtub re-glazed and other things).I understand that all of this needs to be capitalized because it was done before it was put into service.

Can you imaging that I chose this willingly.?

I always try to work with companies I was referred to by other investors instead of just randomly googling somebody.

Hire a third party to do random spot checks or tell cleaning company bonus is tied to 5 star reviews for cleanliness.

Random day in month 3 or 4, and month 7 or 8 on a 12-month lease.

I just see that this may be a tough situation to be put in where on one end you are providing services and opportunities for struggling individuals but on the other running a business where you will have obligations that need to be meet and juggling your image between the 2.  

Instead of focusing on what you want to learn, and hoping you will be a puzzle piece fit for learning that from someone else- chosen at random.
