and of course down town between blm protests that got hijacked by Antifa thugs its a ghost town. 3 weeks ago I was in PHilly and Baltimore there was more going on there than PDX by a long shot I suspect the residence there in the inner cities dont really have the options as many in the PDX market might have to find alternate work space and living.

At the moment, I'd say oil prices are more strongly connected with the protests and in particular Gadaffi's refusal to step down.

Do you guys protest the increases when this happens?

We hire a company to protest our property tax bills on our behalf.

For this year property tax protest, could the money I used to restore the property be counted as repairs in attempt to lower the tax value?

I think it should be mandatory listening for the idiots at the "Occupy" protests across the country.

My prediction is that this wealth gap will grow further in the next two years, but if our economy tanks again, or we hit real inflation, you can expect social unrest, cause I sense a sh*t-storm brewing from my vantage point here in SF, with all the protests about middle class people getting priced out.

I dont know properties get re assessed all the time very common in say Texas you see folks protesting those taxs all the time.
