I understand that if you live in a state that does not have a state income tax - you won't have any state tax liability, but based on $110K income, you would be in a 24% federal tax bracket...Distributions from an IRA or Roth conversion would be considered ordinary income and subject to ordinary income tax; capital gain tax is not applicable here, so I'm not sure why you are bringing it up... 

If a 10 year investment horizon is an issue than this is definitely not for you.  

During those 10 days, if they find issues they want repaired, compensated for, its negotiated.

Maybe it has more to do with the software than the company (although their customer service sucks), in which case you might run into the same issues with other emulators, but it has just been constant headaches.

As an example, we decided to replace the windows in a house we were renovating and ended up costing us $50,000 extra because we got into issues with permitting and suddenly found ourselves having to hire an architect, speciality contractors, etc.  

None to be recommended.They are all alike.Have to get refunded for my fees and it has been more than a year and still have to taggle for them to re-issue me another check.They are very sloppy.

If your business entity has an accountable plan for business expense reimbursements, make sure to issue the appropriate reimbursements in December.

Lot of the issue stems from pillars / blocks that sit on top of the soil in the crawl.

In somce other areas we have invested there have been zoning issues with the muncipality.
