I do not get it, the weather is terrible from Dec - April, and the summers are hot and humid.

Indeed, while there are indeed more foreigners buying property there as they're getting priced out of other places in the peninsula and/or they're being sold a nice story, Progresso is essentially the beach town of Merida's elite who flees there during the summer as the temperature and humidity within the city becomes unbearable.

Both controlled by the hub.Easy to setup and easy to monitor temps and humidity, change lock codes, open the door if needed etc.

And then an energy crises hits the United States 5 years later and the cost to heat or cool our homes triples... so me being from California and mistakenly moving to Oklahoma so I could have 4 seasons instead of just Blazing Hot and Slippery Wet I need to always have either the heater or the air conditioner (the humidity in Oklahoma is so bad fish hitch hike between ponds)  before I FINALLY get to move to Florida and get on those awesome "Florida Resident Only" discounted cruises.

My guess is if you got the carpet wet or even opened the windows on a humid summer day, the smell would come back to some degree.

Lastly, the exterior is made of stucco, which I heard is not easy to repair in TX because it doesn't humidity to pass through the wall and can have mold build-up. 

Very few mosquitos, almost no humidity and mountains as far as the eye can see. 

It will take you a few months to acclimate to the humid weather but you'll forget about all that humidity when you see the snow storms in Ohio next winter on TV.

Summer is my least favorite weather, but we have very low humidity. 

I don't care about the temperature or humidity features Minut has.
