My experience with people whose first words out of their mouth is "I'm a Christian...." generally behave in the least Christ like ways imaginable. 

I have seen everything from single-family homes, apartments, and large multi-family buildings go green/near-net-zero and at the same time: increase revenue, decrease warranty issues, decrease turnover, and have happier renters who take better care of their units. 

So for out of state, it was mainly through word of mouth and recs by friends. 

So I stopped showing her pictures and started showing ROI spreadsheets and she's much happier now.

@Dave Foster  Thanks for the suggestion, I could use another dependent and mouth to feed.  

We both have full time jobs & i have a Detailing business, our goal is to be able to leave our "m-f" jobs and live a happier, healthy and more financially free life.

It's funny to see so many people bad-mouthing property managers only to learn they just grabbed the first one they could find or the one with the lowest advertised rates instead of doing their research.

Having never done this, that is both intimidating and intriguing as I may have a window of opportunity to get passed the agent and get information straight from the horses mouth. 

Someone with a good reputation and would have more to lose if you started bad mouthing them for lying and cheating.

That is my dream, I have 3 brothers myself and nothing would make me happier than if we could do what you guys are so that is awesome!
