I can give you the direct line to the guy I use at a national firm on all of my rentals. 

I'm a buy and hold (sfh rentals) guy here in illinois about an hour south of chicago (just the suburbs so not really the suburbs of chicago). 

I would only out of state invest if my boots on the ground guy is someone I can truly trust. 

It is of a finite quantity.

You might luck out and find a guy that on the DL hates gov and loves to comply just to take back the "power."

Those people tend to learn the newbies want the world and complain they are not directly talking to the big guy or gal and the salespeople for the course leave and say it's too hard or not what they thought.
