I think you are over worried about the government coming after you.

The rest of the cash is sitting in a Whole life insurance policy growing every day waiting for the next opportunity. 

If your concern is liability, what I did was get an umbrella insurance policy on the properties I house hacked under my name.

Government will never succeed in "making" anything cheaper.
