It may be a few hundred, but if the smell comes out from the ac and you've changed the filters, it needs ducts and coils cleaned (may be worth having an AC company clean the coil) Also check into renting an ozone machine if possible.

@Miriam De HaroSorry for this inconvience, but where I live a brand new AC install you're looking around 2-3k with the coil still installed.

I think with the pandemic behind us people will be surprised at the 'coiled spring' effect of big economy / tech economy states like CA and parts of New York. 

This type will tell you without hesitating for a second that NYC is a coiled spring that will surprise people on the upside over the next 3 / 6 / 12 months.

For kitchen make it a nice backsplash and one of those stupid squeeze pull down has the coil deal taps.

@Shawn Westbrook I think I just deleted my first reply but basically I recommend an 18 gauge Brad nailer with a narrow tip that can shoot 2” nails and a grinder with a metal cut off wheel!

That includes drain cleaning if grease and other stuff is flushed down the drain or cleaning of AC coils for failing to change the filter.

Is replacing the unit with a larger one the best option here since I already had this unit charged/had the coil cleaned?

One question is, for the stove top, should it be glass or coils? 

Cleaning out the condenser coil on the outside HVAC unit can be done with a garden hose.
