My city, Richmond VA just announced a large $350 million casino development with hotel restaurant spa etc.

I've been browsing on how to become a real estate developer and am looking for some insight.

I always just browse the post here, but your presented description made me register so I could respond as I suffered greatly from a similar situation. 

A casino doesn't gamble, the individual player is gambling but the House isn't gambling. 

I've spent the last week reading through pretty much all of the dozens of Gatlinburg area threads here on BP from the last few years, as well as browsing around the listings.Prices have definitely inflated a good bit since those discussion threads started, and as I've seen people mention in the more recent threads margins are tighter now (but still good). 

Hi All - I just browsed Lubbock listings through Realtor.com and properties look appealing to me.

Just 4 years ago no one would touch Schenectady with a 100 foot pole but so much has happened in the last 4 years since the Casino.
