@Tiffany S. well I have a mortgage already so I'm pretty sure that will count against it..but I'm looking to do section 8 housing so I guess for my first investment I would rather just deal with a turnkey unless there is a deal to good to pass on..should I give my credit union a shot?

I'm 27 now, and think I have a shot at retiring before 35 through real estate.

Here is a shot of mostly "I want your home" mailers from a property I picked up recently.

Turnkey investments are not made to be short-term, so exiting only a few years in isn't ideal and will likely result in them losing money unless the market has shot up a ton very quickly (where is this prop, btw?).

With owner financing they aren't getting their money in full as they are seeking so I feel like any option might be a stretch but give it your best shot.

I am almost certain my offer will be declined but since the house has been on the market for over 90 days in a region that most houses sell in less than a month I took a shot at a low ball offer.

Maybe even a shot up unit.
