It’s super important you prioritize the end product: something that gets the job done well as an STR.  

Just off the top of my head, I wouldn't feel super comfortable with non-US properties because properties in the US are held to HUD code (at a minimum).

Unless the land is super valuable, probably not collateral for the mobile homes. 

I don't have much patience or sympathy towards the annual flood of "Terrific End-of-Year Tips to Cut Your Taxes" webinars, podcasts, articles and whatnot.
