What are some opportunities to bring more to the table than an introduction? 

I will make an introduction to our cost seg team member.  

It seemed promising at the beginning..great introductions, phone chats, professionalism on both sides... and then seemed demotivated to work with you, or un-responsive (only after) they know what your strategy is and what your offers look like.

I think the book is a good introduction to Notes and would fit under the popular theme of “Notes for Dummies”.

But that aside, I agree with the previous suggestion that joining a local REIA is the way to go - take a trip there around a REIA meeting - it's the best way to meet people and get introductions.
