If you are and plan on making sure the garbage is out correctly and snow is removed from the sidewalks it may work. 

It's pretty much completely hands off where they do all the renting, calls, money collection, maintenance, lawn/snow care, etc... 

Yesterday, the upstairs tenant actually tried to extend an olive branch by offering to help shovel snow and talk to the downstairs tenant about the situation.

We plan to live in the area the winter of the year each year..snow birds.
