My father has a couple of rental properties and I have always had interest in rental properties.

My name is Jonita Ovalles-Pecjo (hyphenated with my biological father's name who died a few weeks before I was born and my step-dad that raised me until I was 15), but most know me simply as Jae.

My father does all the construction work and keeps up with the property. once purchasing the building my father renovated second floor apartment.

They wouldnt even consider another loan program I was asking about to purchase a house for my aging father.  

I am looking to purchase a house for my father, and the couple of banks I have talked with so far have no experience with this loan.   

I would greatly appreciate your insight and suggestions as I begin this journey.I am 37 years old and have been charged by my mom, who is 70, with stewarding the assets left behind by my father, who passed away a few years back.

In particular, Bajadero which is just outside of Arecibo.I am traveling with my Father who was born there and we are back to settle his affairs. 

The SFH is owned by my father-in-law.
