I'm looking at condos in the Buckhead, Midtown, Piedmont Heights, O4W, Atlantic Station, and Decatur areas (among others in the north/eastern part of the city - basically everywhere north of I-20 and east of I-75) and I'd love to hear everyone's input who may be more familiar with the city than I am, what are some (if any) streets/areas in those neighborhoods that are unsafe or I should avoid for other reasons?

I need to find reliable "eyes on the ground" to oversee renovation and confer with local contractors.

I work in Ida, Cherokee and the eastern part of Woodbury County. 

I suggested calling her lender via conference call so we can clarify steps with her authorizing me to speak on her behalf, but haven't heard from her since then.My understanding is that she needs to send our PA to her lender for approval and they will deal with our lender.

Has anyone attended the Multifamily Technology and Entrepreneurship Conference (MTEC)?

It got me thinking about all the folks that attend conferences, spend time on social media forums, read a ton of books, but sit idle when it comes to becoming an active note investor.  

I live in Eastern Iowa, working full time making about $30,000 gross a year.

That being said I am very well versed in all of south eastern Michigan.
