After doing the research and meeting with multiple architects and builders it became a project that we did not want to take on.

In the meantime, builders have throttled way back with building new homes since 2008 and the population keeps growing.

If you already have a builder and architect they'll generally know what you need as well.

I just got my tax bill here in Lake Oswego and my house has gone from 500k in 2014 to 1.5 mil and its just the house I live in.. now granted I built it so probably forced 100k or so equity by owner builder but you get the point.. thats real money I go to sell and 500k is TAX FREE thats how you build wealth for retirement.
