Hello All,A heads up, I'm new to BiggerPockets and have just begun my real estate journey (invested in 1 property as well as this current project with my dad and acquiring my real estate agent license). 3 months ago, while visiting my dad, we decided on the idea to turn his house into a B&B and to build a variety of short term rentals on his property, located on the island of Newfoundland, Canada. 

While browsing I came across a really nice piece of beach front land on an island community that is selling for quite literally dirt cheap.

Looking to get started with my first rental property purchase and networking connections in Rhode Island or south East connecticut.

There aren't any attractive cash flowing properties in my local market in Long Island, NY so I researched several markets and concluded Rochester, NY is an excellent market for a cash flow investor like myself.The deal:6 unit Multifamily property (two - 3 bedroom units and four - 1 bedroom units) in the Maplewood neighborhood of Rochester.  

I always get upgraded to a suite when international ( at least pre pandemic.) and the big island ..

My properties are on a small island outside the USA where things really are more laid back in every aspect of life haha.
