They set a price and ride it for approximately a month, then reduce it if there's been no activity or offers.  

I"m earning less than 50 basis points on my savings accounts and most banks are paying less than 2% on longer-term CDs from what I've seen.

I'm not saying TRID will reduce those fees (someone has to pay for the CFPB), but at least some of the paperwork will be simplified and we'll have a usable GFE again!
