Yes I have worked with foreign nationals.The problem is often currency conversion, extra with holding of taxes, financing programs they do not find appealing etc.Mid deal it falls apart.

Unless you live in an area where a garage is a must, living space will always get you more money than garage space.So, unless the conversion is absolutely horrible, I would keep it.

Before I found this out though I gathered from our phone conversation that this was a gentleman and his wife that are retired and no longer are living in this house and I believe they are free and clear from the mortgage, although I will find this out tomorrow.
