craigslistbandit signs nearby that lead to houselist it in the mls yourself or for sale by owner.combannersone idea I had that I have not personally used is the person I own a house with currently is also a manager at a very well known wine store, and to have them "sponsor" a wine /beer tasting and have it at the house on an open house day in order to get more bodies through the door. maybe you could take that idea and team up with someone you know who owns a restaurant etc.

How are your deals normally structured, do the end buyers always pay all of closing costs or do you sometimes structure it differently. If i pay half the transfer taxes I am probably looking at about 1700-2000 dollars.....I also don't want to have no buyers, and end up with no assignment fees. The only thing I have been able to come up with is that if I give up 1800k in transfer taxes, I should have her renegotiate the assignment contract so that I get a 2k deposit (thus voiding the 1k deposit she already gave) and have her sign an new assignment contract with no financing clauses.

, she signed some papers to receive a 1/4 acre lot of land as part of her parents divorce settlement - the land was in - a new planned community in Navasota, Texas. She forgot about the place, until about 5 years ago when we were asked to pay back taxes - We complied, paying probably 400% of the value of the property itself in taxes (We were not aware of any alternatives) - since then we have been paying taxes on time.We once went to view the land (there is no house) - safe to say the community never "took off" - there are a few houses enclosed in woodland, with the occasional manhole cover in the middle of the woods.
