I also own a law office with 6 employees.  

I plan on calling the zoning office Monday.

They all seem to be tied to the larger offices (Remax; Shorewest; First Weber) I'd prefer an 'a la carte' agent/broker - is there such a thing in Milw or is that too 'new' for this ol' town? 

The development plan for that space will include a "Public Market" and new private commercial space, offices, and housing.

I'd want someone easy to work with, who pays on time, and who has a track record demonstrating ability, along with a few references.For that last point- I had a 10 unit deal that practically hit me in the face about 5 years ago.

Again, you'll need a track record to get top dollar.Any investor who buys all 4 empty houses without a rental track record will expect to get a discount.
