In this case the lagoon is pretty far removed from the park on a separate piece of land.  

Paying it down ~$700 a month will take quite a while.I'm just thinking living debt free would allow me to travel without having to worry about issues with tenants (I currently manage the property) and have piece of mind that I wont have to wake up in the middle of the night to tenant's phone calls.

I see what you're getting at and I understand if you're looking at the total cost of your insurance policy and thinking about that price that it can seem exorbitant but I think if you look at the cost pieces like @Eric Harris you might think that this particular one is valuable.

The cost would be the sheets of drywall at $10 a piece, some mud, screws, tape, paint, and your time.

If you are looking to purchase a piece of junk, put as little into it as possible and rent it for top dollar and expect appriciation, you are dreaming.    

Hey folks,I have an interesting opportunity to purchase multiple mobile homes for ~$500 a piece, rehab them for ~$3000 to $4000 and then flip them for $6000 to $10 000.
