I would avoid top-end rentals but anything that rents to the B- or C-class crowd should be pretty safe even in a down market.

If you do, you’ll need to go further down the “Class” list to the C properties.

Of course depends on property type and average marketing time/DOM for that asset class and location (land usually takes longer to sell for example).Definitely don't enter a contract until being clear on that.
