Spending 100 k again on studies just give you satisfaction that's it, I know as I come from Asian back ground too, real estate will teach you more than degrees(my opinion) you might differ.

The result depends on the measure you apply - maybe it's net worth, or cashflow, or convinience etcMy advise, study both markets and observe what you can see, but ultimatly trust your instinct to make the right decision.
