It's going to take longer than you think, with more red tape.

And we are investing in areas far from where we live and work. 

I mean at the end of the day I need money in my hands in order to pay my bills.But we are probably past the "introduction" post at this point. 

We are fairly new ourselves but we have spent the past few months researching and learning about the different markets in Ohio.

We are saving cash to have money for a 20-25%down payment as well as to have enough in reserves for anything that comes up. 

@Grayson Gist,When it comes to security deposits, the burden of proof is on the landlord to show what the property was like when they moved in, and damage is past normal wear and tear.   

We are still strongly considering this one.
