I've also found that while two different counties may use the same software - they may not have the same features enabled.I've found that a Google search for "<county name> appraisal district" will often get you to the right county web site.  

You also need to run the LLC and other entities correctly if you want to believe that it will not be set aside in court.Hire a good RE lawyer to advise you rather than just fill out forms on the web.

I'm not sure if the rest of the country is like this, but towns in Connecticut have web-based GIS explorers, but very little ability to manipulate and query the data.

I am researching the regulations to owning a STR in Brown County Indiana but the info. is nowhere to be found on the web.
