We renovated the kitchen, the BBQ Patio, the 1st floor tile, the master bathroom/shower, and replaced all furniture in 2023 to a new look/feel of the property.

No, I didn't use a designer, but got all of the furniture and everything else myself. 

I'd eventually like to move to several acres or more in the country (possibly with a tillable field that could also be rented to be farmed) and have these rents subsidize the increased cost of the mortgage so that my net mortgage (farm mortgage minus cash flows from these rentals) would be the same (or less) as a fairly standard SFH in the city, for a much larger property that would allow outdoor recreation. 

I have been very happy with Blink but have not used them for outdoors yet.

I was wondering if anyone had advise on how to furnish the home and from where I should purchase furniture.  

Most furniture stores offer financing, but don’t sign up for any sort of financing until after your closing date or it could cause issues with your new loan. 

Everyone pays a 20% sales tax on large items like cars, furniture, appliances, etc.

The furniture belongs to me.

Furniture is the only asset you own which depreciates over time.
