The main reason I would assume people would prefer contractors is probably the speed and efficiency?

We do a complete house inspection and anything that is old, not efficient or broken, we request a credit and use those funds for repairs. 

Again, we open all projects to the studs to provide the best finished product, and ensure no safety/code issues upon completion.(3) All costmetics is very broad; however, if you're talking paint, flooring, trim, lighting, door knobs, etc, this will be a very big number.

My feeling is that a lot of companies are going to think more critically about embracing employees working from home, both from the ability to reduce overhead in rent/lease costs, but also because employees are going to become more efficient doing such. 

Then you will apply the deposit to the unpaid rent, ensuring you have no losses, and refund the remainder of the deposit, if any.

If they also will mow the grass and remove snow, it would be good to ensure those things get done.
