When first contacted I do review social media to help see if I can find anything to compare the data on the pre-screen application for errors which I have found. 

I've thought about getting in touch with rescue and similar groups to contact the HOA to show the statistics and data on dog aggression and bites and possibly bring some such "bombproof" dogs by for a visit.

I'm wondering if it is necessary for me to get an agent, or if I can contact the bank/lawyer and go through the entire process on my own. 

Therefore I'm looking for an investor friendly agent in Eau Claire I can contact and get set up with live MLS updates to start learning the market and eventually purchase a property.Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the lengthy post, but I thought I'd provide some background info before I get to my question.A little background: My wife and I (and our toddler and newborn) have just started our REI journey this past March.

It's always good to have a few potential investors in your contacts so that if it doesn't work out with one, you have a back-up (or two).  

Back East, I was a HUD broker for several years and had some good relationships with regional banks, but none of those contacts can help on the other side of the country.
