Do you attend your local meetups? 

If you go into it knowing which events are which, you can choose to only attend the type that you want to go to. 

A good agent will attend the home inspection on your behalf, and do a video/facetime for the final walk thru before closing..  

We will be out of town that week but would love to attend a meeting asap

Hi all, was wondering if anyone has attended Rod Khleif's Multifamily 3 day bootcamp?   

You should look into attending a career expo and talking face to face with some brokerage reps and get a feel for how they do business.I work with West USA Realty and think they're great, but I'm sure anyone else would say the same thing about their brokerage so I'd take such recommendations with a grain of salt.You'd probably want to know their policies on handling your own transactions.

I've been to the city multiple times and this year I attended Janet Tonkins' Rental Cash Machine workshop at with the Baltimore REIA.  

Read books on investing in real estate, listen to the podcasts, attend webinars and stay active on the forums while connecting with other investors in your area and pick a niche.

I attended a few three day real estate classes and also read the first four rich dad books.
