No joke, on day one of investment home ownership the fire department, police department, gas department and water department all showed up at my house.

i'm with scott. i was able to sign in and observe. it may be my own fault, but i was expecting a greater amount of interaction between members. perhaps if it was going to be used for a roleplay, maybe a youtube video or recording would have been more suitable (and dar easier to follow). i was often confused when the roleplay was going and when it wasnt. i think scott had some valid questions that werent addressed. i signed off before the q&a session at the end so i cannot comment on that. perhaps that section would have been better for scotts questions, but i can understand his frustration on not waiting around. i certainly look forward to getting chats going more often. i appreciate bill and will taking time out of their day (on football sunday) to educate. in time, i think the chat will be more polished for everyone.

Or a place that you call the police to get a feel for the place and they tell you not to go there.   

Call the local police station and they will do a free walkin assessment to better tell you how to secure the property. 

That isn't going to be the focus for police departments as a top priority.
