Even for US Citizens, many US banks won't do loans with investors from out of the state (they want local tie).  

Florida is one of the best states to have one in!

I would utilize a local bank, such as Hills Bank or Green State, they have the ability to utilize "in-house" lending and can be a bit more aggressive in how they lend given the potential forced appreciation.

Detrick,As @Wale Lawal stated, Houston is a great market for long term investing. 

You should familiarize yourself with your state laws on that.

That credit policy manual is approved by the board of directors, Federal, and State Regulators.

They are much more reasonable and are more intertwined in a community than some lender states away.

Will you be wholesaling, BRRRR'ing, buy and hold, flipping, local or out of state, etc?

This is very weird to me since other lenders will work with buyers from  any state.

It should be generated with your acceptance by the Secretary of State.
