I can tell you this in any town if an agent is planning on a career they better be honest.

I've been on BP a year longer than I've been licensed and if it weren't for experts in every field freely sharing their knowledge here, I surely would not have pursued a license, a full time career shift to real estate sales, or be where I am today looking into JV flips and BRRRRs.   

So my mind really switched from the standard working for a living at your career to considering all the possibilities for other avenues of income.So, me and a buddy had an app developed a few years back that was like a Facebook for news. 

Looks like alot of work was put into the house so trying to figure what someone would want off the top with that much room to give a fair offer.I either want to play hardball or pull on the heart strings letting them help a first time investor get on his feet and knowing they helped start a career. 

The extra revenue from selling off underperforming equity positions really helped me accelerate my investing career.

He always felt that he understood real estate better than anyone (the numbers argue in his favor), but he needed a nice hedge against the some 6-7 down cycles he has seen in his career (in his 80s now).

I was told by someone I know to pursue a "Front Office" job, where I am the "deal guy" and having a brokers license would only benefit me here in terms of initially being hired and having a leg up on other applicants as well as just knowing the right people when the time comes to make these deals happen.All the while, if I'm not overextending myself (which I will identify when the time comes) I would like to purchase my first investment property and start the road to being an investor.Please, give me questions to think about, insights you may have, objections to my career path, etc.

To do so, my next plan is two fold: one, I want to change careers for higher income (to qualify for bigger loans) and something related to real estate so I can work to learn; and two, I want to buy another single family residence or duplex or triplex to increase my cashflow using the BRRRR strategy for buy-and-hold.

I'm considering growing my real estate investing career using the BRRRR strategy.

Being a few years into my investing career now, the strong-majority of times I wouldn't go that route.
