If asked "would you rent to this person again" you darn well better answer honestly.I am very forthcoming when a landlord calls and above all advise as to whether they should or should not rent to any individual...in my opinion.

I would go to a few and start talking with other like-minded individuals.

The family member also has a friend who would use a portion of the building, so three individuals would be paying the rent.
