My husband and I, who live in CA,  are deciding on buying an investment property but we are also taking into consideration my mother, who we currently help with rent down in Lake Nona.

I am coming up on completion of the repairs, and am really trying to assemble a game plan on how to go after my next property.Here would be my ask from someone in the community:Would anyone be willing to take a look at my current numbers/situation and give feedback on what some potential next steps could be to go after another property?

A lender I'm currently working with said their underwriting process is taking 60+ days right now and he started me almost 3 months out.

We currently only have one other townhouse that rent out.

I currently live in my primary residence (2nd SFH). 

I'm looking to refinance my existing investment property to purchase one in Pittsburgh for the purpose of short term rental am crazy to do it in the current market situation with Airbnb being what it is ? 

For those of you who do, are you happy with your current management, and if so, what are the main things you feel they do to create value for you? 

I am a currently licensed professional engineer and a practicing structural engineer.

It is still possible in this current environment, however. 

You can also call your property manager if you use a professional management company to see if their portfolio has anyone that recently purchased or currently owns properties in the area that are thinking about selling (just to help you rationalize your value better).
