Its sort of a sleazy process from the buyers side, but from the sellers side the motto is "if you don't have 5% of your cars coming back, you aren't selling hard enough". give the car back, it's just a car, NEVER get emotional over a luxury depreciating asset.

That is somewhat common, but should have been communicated. outside of that just seems like miscommunication, should be easy enough to call the issuing bank and negotiate or reopen.

I have a loving and supportive wife who, while she does not fully understand my shift in mindset loves me enough to listen and work with me toward our final goals, the communication I think helped us out, there were several discussions, lol.

If you can stand the tenant being rude and they pay on time and keep the unit up and it’s not too much of a hassle, I would say keep them and opt to formally communicate with them.
