There may be room there that I could hang a laundry bag so tenants could toss abandoned clothing into that.

So a few weeks into starting my REI research, of course THIS happens: our landlord in Brooklyn tells us they are not renewing our lease in May in order to demo the property (beautiful old row house) and build a multi.
