I'm looking to buy and hold my 1st SFR in the summer when the situation blows over and tenants can afford rent. 

It seems that with the increase in home prices here more people are looking to RV parks for affordable housing.

So I was planning on moving into my new apartment (Paid a $500 security deposit) but due to COVID-19 I lost my source of income and I spoke to the agent and told her I cant afford to move in at the moment and asked for my deposit back but she said it has been forfeited, is that fair?

I think he did a nice thing and if he can afford it it's great for the tenants. 

This will be the constant throughout my life and will afford me to have a safe and comfortable retirement if I want it or to be able to pass something down to my kids.

we are all about investing in STL and providing affordable quality rentals to the local community. 

I have some inquiries from people on social assistance who indicate they can afford the rent.

Affordability/Cost of living is also pretty attractive, but would like to hear any thoughts on this.

Can I afford $780,000 house in my situation?

Maybe I'll have to consider renting a place nearby for a place to live for now and look into what I can afford in all cash properties elsewhere for long-distance investing.
