I wanted to see if anyone has any good recommendations for licensed contractors in the Essex County NJ area?

Seriously, you were supposed to hire contractors to make your property loanable.

I walked the property with a contractor and understand a permit will need to be pulled for the work but one thing we weren't completely sure about was adding an address to the building.

The short version is he would handle managing the rehab and contractors etc, I would make an initial loan to the company and acquire both the short term money and long term refinancing money, as I can still get the conventional since I’m under my 10 limit.

I am looking into getting my first flip property soon.I was wondering if I should have my contractor walk a few properties with me before I get a property under contract or if I should have the deal first based on my own rehab assumptions? 

I won't deny that its not as nice as areas like Southpark and Golden Hill that are within the 92102 area code, but we enjoy living here.

Removing it is extremely expensive, so the common advice I got from contractors is to put vinyl siding over it.
