I wonder where those skill sets would fit for someone green like me...

Most people fail to recognize that the precursor to investing in real estate is working hard - learning skills; gathering knowledge of markets; living frugally and stockpiling cash for investments; ETC.

There are a lot of great West Michigan people here on BP, so keep an eye out - keyword alerts are very helpful.Your skills (and schedule) should serve you well in the days to come.

You might, with skillful negotiation, be able to craft a good deal here.But, I also see a bunch of unnecessary exposure:The condo association controls all.

Lenzy, I, personally, think you're right on, and here's why: 1) wholesaling is an art- and your USUAL buyers are investors in 9 out of 10 cases, BUT there is that occasional 'regular owner-occupier-rehab it as I go' type of owner that you can run into. 2)  that rehab-as-i-go gal I mentioned, above...  

The GC will need to be skilled in rough and finish carpentry.Thanks,Wayne 

I do not have the time or skills for making repairs and I no longer want to live here.Trying to determine a good asking price.

Money is great but you really want the skills because no matter what happens you can get it back.
