My interests have always been with the trades and my previous homes were a blast as they were both "long term" flips that provided me with some real-world experience...major jobs like adding bathrooms, bedrooms, converting spaces, kitchens, etc.

If you want to learn the trade of selling real estate and put on the realtor hat then I would recommend you join a team to start off to gain some experience as they will feed you leads and train you and likely will be a 50/50 commission split.
