Updates:Audis are not meant to be trucks...my suspension broke...I should probably add that to renovation costs:)Finishing up the floor today, most of the painting is done, new doors and new windows went in, we put together the cabinets and installed them, rewired most of the apartment, eliminated the old "knob and tube" wiring, etc.When they say everything that could go wrong , will go wrong....they are not kidding.

So you'll have to do your own due diligence on what to expect for rent- the vacancy rate used in calculations will be higher than the average for Chicago; You'll have to take do some homework on the cost to maintain.

When a frig is in a corner the option is to open it into the wall, which will end up hitting the wall at times, especially with kids or visiting friends or to hinge it so it opens away from the wall. 

Just kidding of course.  

All these companies did their homework on the water supply and other potential issues before committing so much money.
