I started to do a photo mockup of the doors in place, but quickly realized to fit in with the wainscoting and cabinets, the door width plays a big part in the overall look and feel of the balance.If it were mine, I would get all 4 doors on site--borrow them and return them, in a size most will be.Then stand them in the openings and leave them there for a couple of days.Look at them morning, noon and after dark, and pick the one that feels most fitting to you.If you are challenged in this area, ask a few lady friends for their opinion, and factor that in (most women have a pretty good sense of style and design).Good Luck!

I had more than one strip the house take everything  out of it all cabinets lighting plumbing fixtures etc.. so that would be rare but it did happen.

The appraiser noted missing storm windows, missing kitchen cabinets, missing ceiling tiles, no appliances, some tile and carpet missing, holes in the drywall, some missing siding, and some garage items- door, siding and a hole in the wall.

What I would do is get a rough figure for each repair(which should be broken down in the estimate), put those figures in an excel spreadsheet, and then when you need to figure out how much for new kitchen cabinets, look at your spreadsheet, and it says "$3,000" or whatever it says.

I'm probably looking at around $8K for the walls with paint, and about $20K for the kitchen with a wall opened up (beam, counter, sink, cabinets, backsp;ash).
